I really needed this rest day. I walked down historical Silver City Main Street. There is a presence of a vibrant art culture with bits and pieces of stunning murals. Thrift stores, galleries and even a farmer’s market lined the street.
I did some damage in Gila Hike and Bike shop! 🤭 The owner saw dollar signs when he saw our group walk in! Nice shop, well stocked with basic cycling and hiking needs.
Overall, a well needed recovery day. And, it was a sunny warm day!
6 more ladies from the 2020 group joined us today. Remembering names is starting to be a challenge 🤯!
Riding over Emory Pass in the Gila (pronounced “HELA”) National Forest tomorrow. I have a lot of nervous energy stored up. 😬😮. EFI!! 🤣
Laura, Cathy and Diane (Delaware) under the Silver City Sign.
Stocked up on tubes!
Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin’ (Journey fans will get this 😉)
Hanging with the ladies!
You spent your rest day… walking around? 😜 Cute group, love you mama! 💖
