Rest Day #9 May 1

Hello May! 🐇🐇

Today was an uneventful, quiet rest day. There isn’t much near the hotel and it’s an 8 mile bike ride to “downtown“ Madison. I chose to stay put.

I had lunch by the pool with some friends and I got caught up on some emails and the season finale of Outlander 😱!

We had a map meeting for tomorrow’s ride. There will be an opportunity for tubing, swimming and kayaking at Ichetucknee State Park at mile 67. It will be in the 90s tomorrow so a quick dip might be in order!

No Post Office or UPS trips today! 😂 Cathy got her bike ready for tomorrow. The route is mostly flat so she hopes to ride 45 miles! Go Cathy!!🙂

Cathy’s Surly Disc Trucker touring bike. It weighs about 35 pounds! 😵‍💫😳 It’s too heavy for the van roof so it rides on the front rack 🫤
