About WomanTours. Wow! So far, a well organized, first class operation. They, clearly, have done this many times before.

Full road support (also known as SAG, support and gear) ~ every 20 miles the van is available for food, snacks and hydration.

We met as a group for orientation. Women from all over the country and all walks of life. 22 women on this tour. 12 of us are starting in San Diego. We’ll meet the others in El Paso, Texas. They were pulled off the ride in 2020 due to COVID. That ride is referred to as the “Coast to COVID“ ride.🤦‍♀️ Attended a briefing on bike maintenance and safety. It might sound mundane but, apparently, there is an abundance of goathead stickers (with thorns) 😲 along desert roads that will puncture a tire. Who knew?🐐
